Appendix 2: How Influ2 technology works
Last updated: June 9, 2026
The intent data market is full of vendors selling a firehose of signals.
The problem: most are noisy, unreliable, or wrong. When a rep follows up on a bad signal and the prospect has no idea what they’re talking about, that’s worse than no signal at all — it destroys credibility and burns the account.
Influ2 was built differently. The DNA of this business is accuracy, not volume. We deliver high-impact signals and If a signal doesn’t meet that bar, it doesn’t reach you. Fewer signals you can trust, rather than a flood of noise.
How it works
It usually starts with your CRM. Influ2 syncs with Salesforce or HubSpot and pulls in your target contact lists. These are the people your sales and marketing teams have already decided to go after.
Ads are served through first-party platforms. Influ2 partners exclusively with first-party ad platforms (like LinkedIn). When a platform serves an ad to one of your target contacts, it knows exactly who it’s showing the ad to.
Engagement is attributed back to individuals. Influ2 uses ML to analyze data across multiple ad platforms and determine what specific contact saw or engaged with a specific ad. This is what allows Influ2 to tell you not just that someone clicked an ad, but that Jane Smith, VP of Marketing at Acme, clicked your ad about pipeline conversion yesterday.
AI adds context. Raw signals are processed through AI to produce contextual summaries — not just “Jane searched for X,” but an explanation of what the signal means and why it matters. This is what shows up in Signals Center, your CRM, Slack, and more.
